SF Botanical Garden

The San Francisco Botanical Garden, located within Golden Gate Park, has a rich legacy with the San Francisco Garden Club. In the club’s infancy, it established the John Muir Nature Trail and one of its early presidents underwrote the Zellerbach Garden. Other members also contributed to additional locations throughout the Garden.

The San Francisco Botanical Garden is home to the Club’s Alice Eastwood Garden, a place of respite and relaxation. The Club often takes advantage of the garden for receptions and get-togethers. In 2017, a lovely summer reception was held under the trees and the club was enlightened with pending new plans for SFBG by its Director, Matthew Stephens.
